The dialogue that has NOW been proffered by rhinoceros and Lucifer is what can be commonly known as "disclosure" or "transparency."

The open declaration of events that lead to precedent, either by action or lack of action, by either finding or lack of finding, is what is necessary for consistency.

Without a referent historical perspective of events that future persons can refer to, there must be a "rediscovery" of decisions. By putting all of this in the public domain, events of the future can both be proactively pre-empted and, should that fail, promptly and consistently be dealt with.  Until this dialogue, such was not explicitly the case.

Now that two precedents have been set, let them been recorded and referenced, so that the inevitability of memory failure not bite the forum in the ass again.

Moral majority is neither, neither is popular logic. Consistently disregarding the vicissitudes of popularity based assertions of logical consequence, this has been another public service announcement from:

[kirksteele] The dialogue that has NOW been proffered by rhinoceros and Lucifer is what can be commonly known as "disclosure" or "transparency."

[Lucifer] The only thing that needed to be disclosed was the new policy, that is, the new rule about conflict of interest in admistrative actions. That was going to published without your intervention. The dispute that led to this new rule should have remained private according to the guidelines set in the wiki.
