Brain cells, silicon connected on chip April 12, 2006 10:00 AM PDT As News.com runs a special report on the nexus of technology and nature, this post on LiveScience.com seems particularly appropriate. An article headlined "Brain Cells Fused with Computer Chip" reports that "European researchers have developed 'neuro-chips' in which living brain cells and silicon circuits are coupled together." Researchers have been tinkering with brain-chip implants for a few years.
