The Wave - proof of Obama's foreign arrogance

[Mo] Some people just never tire of picking on Obama in the most juvenile ways imaginable. God forbid he have normal human thoughts or feelings. Yeah right, not doing the wave obviously proves his arrogance . . . whatever. These are sports sections, not a political story or the editorial page. Don't these guys have a job they should be doing?
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_league_stew/post/Obama-watches-Strasburg-set-record-White-Sox-wi?urn=mlb,249704 excerpt: Quote:"Not only did he get to witness Strasburg with his own eyes, and he saw his White Sox win, but he also sat stoically — and righteously — as the rest of the stadium foolishly did the Wave. Including at least one of his own daughters. Hah! Silly humans!" |
http://royalsblog.kansascity.com/?q=node/565 excerpt: Quote:Strasburg settled for a no-decision – the White Sox won 2-1 in 11 innings – but the Sports Illustrated cover boy did manage to provide ample fuel for the out-of-control hype machine.
Part of that fuel came via an unannounced visit from President Obama, who sat in a private box and sported his usual ballpark attire: White Sox cap and blue jeans.
He also provided some real leadership when he refrained (photo) from taking part in the “wave”.
Maybe he's a vuvuzela guy? |
[Mo] Thus we can conclude from Obama not participating in The Wave 1) that he's arrogant and 2) that he's probably a foreigner (scooby treats to the birthers). The not-so-subtle punditry of US sports entertainment industry. -Mo
