A collection for sale on eBay
An old acquaintance of David Tibet, Michael Lawrence, is selling some of his collection of Current 93/Ghost Story Press/Durtro Press material (as well as other non-connected items) through eBay. He has asked Durtro to mention this.
Although this is something Durtro would not normally do, we thought that, as there are some interesting pieces coming up, including a couple of original Louis Wain pieces of artwork (which previously belonged to Tibet before being bought by Michael, with Tibet's ownership signature on the back of the frames), and also some of the rare and sought-after early GSP and Durtro volumes, it was worth letting people know.
Parts of his collection, which will be sold over the next few months, can be found by doing a 'search by seller' on eBay under the ID 'mlawrence42'. There is, at this time of writing on Sunday 17 August, a pen and ink drawing by Louis Wain up as well as a mint copy of the first edition of LA Lewis' 'Tales of the Grotesque', with the Steven Stapleton dust-jacket also signed by Steven on the back.
