Umm, yes we propped up Saddam in the first place. The CIA backed his coup by giving key intelligence information to Saddam.

And we did help fund the Taliban in the first place in Afghanistan. We claimed that they would bring “stability” to the region.

I don't know how Milosovich got into power...
