That chimpanzee analogy makes a lot of sense.
So it seems the first step towards a progressive society, not ruled by vendors of illusiary bananas, must be to teach people to value their own minds, and to think freely.
One way of doing that would be to live freely ... displaying to others how this “free thought” has benefits.
