What Hermit conveniently fail to mention is that he made the
same claims of mental defectiveness against me during his hysterical
rants against a US action in Afghanistan. He claimed that the US would
suffer massive numbers of dead and wounded, that we would be
embroiled in a Vietnam-type quagmire (the favored shibboleth for these
types to shake), that the entire Afghan population would unite like
Tennesseeans against us, and that millions of Afghans would starve,
prompting anti-American riots at the Kaaba. Subsequent events proved
him to be spectacularly wrong on all counts, as they will in the future,
when it is discovered what Saddam has been developing out of the
sight of UNSCOM inspectors all this time. Remember now, Hermit; as I
told you then (but you forgot - gotta watch those memory lapses): I Told
You So - and am doing so again.
