It does not seem to me that many people on this list are making any
more distinctions between the Israeli government and the Jewish
people than they are making between the Palestinian Authority and the
Palestinian people. For Hermit, attempting to play the race card
against me tended to be his alternative of first resort, for the imputation
of racism against those who disagree with you is the most favorite
refuge of the antiamerican. Unlike Hermit, I never specifically called
anyone in paerticular a racist on this list. People like him love to dish
out that opprobrium, as if the recipient should just shrug it off and
ignore the ad hominem insult, but are unaccountably offended when
asked to take it themselves.
