[Blunderov] Vasectomy too, can present problems. Ever since I had my
vasectomy, I have had a condition called epidydimitis which is an
inflammation of the small sack next to the actual testicle. <snip>
[Mermaid]I have heard about this condition once before. Apparently, the
incidence of infection is quite rare. But, when the plumbing goes wrong
inside a woman's body, it clogs one sufficiently relevant part or other.
When one breaks down, all risk falling down. But every once in a while, it
seems to me that half the problems that women experience occur because of
excessive tinkering. Hence my opinion that vasectomies are more efficient in
terms of spawn prevention. Vasectomy is a more responsible and considerate
choice. I have much respect for a man who would consider vasectomy instead
of suggesting repeated fetal terminations or the Damned Pill. Other reasons:
Vasectomy is generally a 30 minute procedure while tubal ligation is real
surgery. The former requires local anesthesia and the incisions are small.
It is not invasive and the recovery period is quicker than tubal
ligation.(not to mention the costs.) It seems that women also face more
complications and side effects than men especially because they would, in
all probability, be still menstruating.
