There were some posts by Lentivirus about the Lamarkian objection some time ago. He supported that, while biolology is Darwinian, social (and memetic) evolution is Lamarkian (acquired traits are hereditary).

I think it is a matter of how you draw the analogy between biological and social (or memetic) evolution. If by "hereditary" we mean passing information and social infrastructure to the next generation, we could call it Lamarkian.
