It seems less practical for me to hunt for my own meat than it does for me
to buy it in the grocery store. When I go hunting, I just don't put any live
rounds in the weapon. I know, that's bad for the firing pin, but once you've
been up to your elbows in blood a few times it loses its appeal. I get the
thrill of the hunt, the deer gets to walk away and maybe get shot by someone
else tomorrow. Just because I know how to kill fuzzy woodland critters and
consume their bodies doesn't mean I need to practice all that much. Works
for me ;-}

[Kirk]Anyone ever been to/through Norco, California? West of L.A. North of
SanD. Smells like a million dead asses. Cuz they slaughter about that many a
week there. I am not sure, but having been through the stockyards in
ChiTown, Austin and Boise I have never seen anything as large as Norco. It's
like the Federation Death Star of stock yards. Runs for about 15 miles on, I
believe, I-15.
[Mermaid]Ahh..CowHell. I thought it was on Interstate 5?
P.S.I do believe that animals have rights. That also includes bears, moose,
elephants, reindeers and everything wild. I eat meat, but only occasionally.
I dont know about being omniwhores, but I am not interested in anyone who
doesnt eat pussy<...not feline>. For those who think 'hunting' is macho:
Predator was made just for you folks.
