[Hermit] To help them track you down, even librarians - and library
computers - have been drafted. If you go to the library and take out a
book, ask for books on, or examine a card-index in, one of several Dewey
categories, the FBI is notified immediately - and the librarians may be
jailed if you discover they have reported you... At least one real
consequence already exists - you are likely in for a great deal of
inconvenience if you try to fly after reading certain books.
[Michael] Apparently this isn't limited to libraries anymore (as if
limiting made it "okay" or something... <sigh>). Refer "Big Brother is
watching you read" By Christopher Dreher [url]
